At Bushey Meads School we work hard to adapt lessons and activities to suit the needs of all learners, recognising that not all students learn in the same way. Much best practice is shared across the staff body in terms of delivering ‘quality first teaching’ or ‘ordinarily available provision’ in classrooms across the school.
On Monday morning in Staff Briefing Miss Pearson shared some top tips from her work in art as a Monday Magic Moment. These tips were helpful reminders as to how to adapt and develop strategies in the classroom to ensure all learners make good progress. Her ideas included some great ways to support students to assess their work and identify the key next steps to take, to maximise progress moving forward.
