Last Friday morning I visited an inspiring textiles class and saw excellent engagement in the practical task set which involved designing and making pencil cases.
There were lots of creative ideas on display and the Year 7 students had really thought carefully about this aspect of the process.
Ongoing assessment for learning tips from the teacher were powerfully helping to move their work to the next level.
As we remind all students about our 3 Rs of Respect, Responsibility and Relationships, the lesson was an exemplary demonstration of this; all students were following the Keys to Success and this was impacting very positively on their work and progress in the lesson.
Well done Year 7s!
