On the 4th November, a group of Year 8 and 9 students enjoyed a fantastic morning at Battersea Spanish, bringing their classroom learning to life through two exciting and interactive workshops.
During the Tapas Bar workshop, students discovered a variety of traditional Spanish foods, learnt new vocabulary and explored Spanish cuisine. They then put their language skills to the test through restaurant role-plays, taking on the roles of customers and waiters. To finish, students got creative by designing their very own Spanish menus!
The highlight of the morning for many was the Salsa workshop led by a professional dance instructor. Students had the chance to learn some salsa moves and enjoy the lively rhythms of Latin music. There was plenty of energy, enthusiasm and laughter as everyone got involved, regardless of their previous dance experience!
It was fantastic to see students throwing themselves into the activities, practising their Spanish and embracing the culture. A brilliant morning was had by all, with lots of smiles, new experiences and memories made along the way.
