We all know that Coldharbour Lane does get very busy at the end of each day but I would like to thank the vast majority of parents and carers for parking a little way away from the school and encouraging their children to walk a short distance to avoid the congestion in the immediate vicinity of the school gates. We strongly encourage this ‘park and stride’ approach and it makes for a much safer end of school time for all our students.

A few drivers are unfortunately causing some distress to the staff, students and parents and carers of our neighbouring school Meadowood School by going onto their private land and taking up precious parking places that should be reserved for disability transport and their own parents and carers. Other BMS parents and carers are driving in and out of the school causing greater congestion for all the disability minibuses trying to pick up their particular students.

If that is you please do not do this.

Again I would like to say a huge thank you to the vast majority of parents and carers who continue to be considerate to our own students, our local neighbours and the overall safety of the school.
