Lunch for local NHS Heroes…

Over the past week or so, there have been a growing number of stories of inspiration and hope for humanity and kindness. One such story in our own school community is that of the efforts of the Rutter family.  Siblings, Matthew (10S), Ben (7S) and Chloe (7S) teamed up with their parents and another local mum to launch a fundraising project to help support the amazing and brave front line staff at Watford hospital.  Ben and Chloe helped to brainstorm ideas for the GoFundMe page that was set up and both have designed posters to show their support which are on the page.  Can we as a Bushey Meads community rally together to support this very local cause and visit the funding page and even better, make a donation.  Here is a message from the family themselves:  We are raising money to help support the amazing and brave front line staff at Watford hospital. To provide the A&E doctors and nurses with lunch during this crisis. This was a direct request from one of their team.  We have already sent this to a few of my children’s teachers at Bushey Meads and the response has been great. Mr Cartledge responded almost instantly and not only donated but shared our page on his sports twitter feed for Bushey Meads. At least five other BMS staff have donated and we are very grateful for the support we’ve received so far.We have raised over £2000 since Friday.  Can you help us to reach our target  #save lives  #nhsheroes
