Assessment for and of Learning
In Computer Science, once students had completed part of a module they were working on, they met with Associate Leader Mr Abusef for a one to one mentoring session to show how much they understood and could articulate in their answers to probing questions. It was a great way of gaining first-hand feedback to identify any gaps in their learning.
In English students were also completing an assessment task to demonstrate their learning and benchmark future next steps.
It was good to see students so focussed on showing their best work and so dedicated to making good progress by using these assessment opportunities so effectively.
