Houses of Parliament
On Wednesday I was lucky enough to join a selection  of our year 10 and 12 students on a trip to the Houses of Parliament. We had a tour and a workshop on the ‘Power of Petition’ we were also lucky enough to see the ceremonial entry of the Speaker of the House and to stand inside the House of Lord.
One lucky student even got to take away a bull that had recently been debated.
A really great opportunity for the students to see in action all the things we learn in personal development about the rule of law, democracy and British values in action.
Thanks to Mr Murray for organising such a great trip.
