Continued Commitment and Dedication
Building on the success of some superb and very well attended Easter holiday revision sessions, our hard working Year 11 and 13 students continue to be very focussed in class and are doing all they can to secure those extra marks to nudge up their levels in this final straight before the upcoming GCSE and Post 16 Examinations.
The photos show some great revision sessions taking place including a very popular lecture style session for Year 11 English students in the Main Hall with over 80 students attending, all taking careful and detailed notes on the revision gems that were shared – it was very impressive to see.
Our popular Study Saturdays start on Saturday 2nd May and the four rooms in the Learning Resource Centre or LRC will be open to any Year 11 students or Sixth form students who would prefer to come into school to work and revise.
The doors open at 10.00 am and close at 2.00 pm. Drinks and biscuits will be available to keep up the energy and students are free to stay as long as they want.
The rest of the school site will be closed and students should only be in designated rooms in the LRC signing in and out as they enter and leave.
