Technology Club Is Buzzing!
On Monday after school, our Technology Club was full of energy, and it was wonderful to see so many students turn up for the first session of the term.
This week’s challenge was circuit construction. Students worked with soldering irons to build their own small circuits on printed circuit boards. Safety came first, with everyone wearing goggles, and the slide on the board guided them through each step. There was a lot of careful concentration as students placed components, held wires steady and added tiny dots of solder. Others were busy snipping and trimming the extra wire once their joints were complete.
All of our STEM Ambassadors were there too!
They helped other students through the tasks and clearly enjoyed the challenge themselves. It was lovely to see older and younger students learning side by side, sharing tips and celebrating when a circuit came together.
A huge thank you to Mrs Parkinson and Mr Lau, who ran the session brilliantly. Their patience and enthusiasm made the room a friendly place to learn.
