Understanding further education opportunities
Having recently been appointed as Careers Officer at Bushey Meads, it was great to host an assembly from West Herts College for our Year 11 students last week. We want to ensure that all students understand the diverse options available to them at the end of Year 11, which include A-Levels, T-Levels, BTECs and Apprenticeships to name a few.
Matt Bown, Head of Performing Arts at West Herts College (who is also a former Bushey Meads student) described the wide variety of occupational and vocational courses they offer ranging from Construction skills to Fashion and Costume Design as well as Aeronautical Engineering. If you are interested in find out more,. they have open days in November which can be booked by visiting westherts.ac.uk
More events are planned throughout the year so please keep an eye on the newsletter or feel free to contact me for more information.
