Learning in the Sunshine

Learning in the Sunshine
I have to commend all teachers, learning assistants and of course all the students for continuing to learn so brilliantly inside and outside of the classroom – even in these very hot temperatures.
It was great to see the focus in Miss Vail’s music class who were sitting in the playground with their djembe drums and engaging with all the rhythms and call and response activities. Luckily there was a reasonably cool breeze! The sound of the drums echoed nicely across our school site and was a great indication of full engagement and progress in learning.
Assistant Headteacher Mr Mitman was also very impressed with the attitude to learning and commitment shown in his PE lesson focussing on rounders. Everyone was trying their best and also encouraging one another to make great progress. It was super to see.
