It was a wonderful sight to behold in Mr Back’s Year 7 Literacy Lesson in the LRC on Thursday morning of this week.
All students were engrossed in their books, competing book reviews and all moving their literacy to the next level – strengthening their ability in this foundational pillar of their learning journey across all subjects at BMS.
I was so impressed with all the adults and how effectively they were personalising their support to individuals and groups of learners in the class, including Deputy Head Boy Aaron who was peer reading as part of his Sixth Form community service.
