Moving On
This was the very pertinent theme of the week this week and it was very relevant to our brilliant Year 12 students whose assembly in the Sixth Form Centre was taken by Deputy Headteacher Mr Beswick.
Having just completed their PPEs and a week long work experience, it is all about considering their next steps and preparing for Year 13 – arguably their most important year of education to date.
Mr Beswick reminded them that it is sometimes those daily small steps we take that over time make a significant difference to our outcomes in life and enable us to reach our full potential.
He gave lots of practical examples and ideas of things to do over the next two weeks and throughout the summer to really get ahead and hit the ground running in September.
