The Power of Belief

Executive Principle, Mr Turner, welcomed students back this week with an inspiring assembly that challenged our students to think deeply about the importance and power of belief.

He spoke about how success isn’t just about talent; it’s about the stories we tell ourselves and the confidence we carry into our daily challenges. To bring this to life, Mr Turner drew inspiration from the grit and determination of tennis icon Andy Murray.

“I think it’s the belief that you can win that’s the most important thing.” — Andy Murray

Our students were encouraged to adopt follow three simple but powerful rules:

  • Visualise Success
  • Turn Up for “Training”
  • Listen and Learn

It was a great reminder that with the right mindset, there are no limits to what our students can achieve as they complete the year and move onto the next stage of their education in September.
