KS3 Cooking Club – Summer Half Term Starts...

The secret is finally out! We are delighted to reveal that our special guest chef for the KS3 Cooking Club is Chef Gordon from our very own school restaurant.

Our first session of the summer half term was a great success. Students baked some beautifully light butterfly cakes that looked so good they could almost fly away! Everyone had lots of fun learning new baking skills, decorating their cakes, and enjoying the results of their hard work.

After a fantastic first week, our budding chefs have already chosen what they would like to make next. Next time we will be making sushi, and we can’t wait to give it a go!

Join the Cooking Club!

The KS3 Cooking Club is open to all Year 7 and Year 8 students. We meet every Tuesday at 3.10pm in C11.

Next Week’s Dish: Sushi

We will provide:

  • Sticky rice
  • Seaweed

Students should bring their own choice of fillings:

  • 1 carrot
  • 8cm piece of cucumber
  • Half a pepper (any colour)
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 asparagus spears

Please remember to bring your ingredients, clearly labelled, to C11 on the morning of Tuesday 16th June.

We look forward to seeing everyone next week for another exciting cooking adventure!
