The Beauty Lounge at BMS
It was so exciting to be able to take the Acting Heads of Primary School and Acting Primary Executive Primary Headteacher to visit our newly revamped and enhanced Hair and Beauty provision just before the recent half term holiday.
The Salon (now re-named The Beauty Lounge) provides students with a real life, professional learning space and work experience venue on site at Bushey Meads. Equipped with salon chairs, mirrors and all the heat tongs, straightening irons and every hair and beauty product you could need, they are all set to train and develop into professional workers in this growing industry and vital world of work.
A huge thank you goes to all the dedicated staff who have made this happen (especially our superb Hair and Beauty teacher Mrs Devereux) who have transformed this vital part of our eclectic curriculum into something so special and unique.
It truly reflects our commitment to engaging and supporting all students in learning and helping them all achieve their goals and success beyond school.
