Year 10 Boys v Chancellors (County Cup) AWAY  Mr Cartledge

Date: Monday 21st September 2026

Result: Lost 5-0

Comment: With several players not available a mixed Year 10 A/B team showed great spirit and commitment in a tough 1st Round County Cup defeat at Chancellors. The opposition dominated the game for long periods but the boys defended well with O Woodbrock having an excellent game in goal. All the boys that came into the squad for this game can be pleased with their efforts.

 

 

 

 

Year 9A Boys v Croxley Danes (District League) HOME  Mr Moxon

Date: Monday 21st September 2026

Result: Won 7-0

Comment: 

The Year 9s were eager to get their season underway after two strong training sessions, and they did exactly that with an excellent opening performance. The boys started quickly, as B. Rusi reacted first to a loose ball from a corner to put us ahead after 10 minutes. Two superb strikes then followed, with F. Slazak and N. Cunningham both finding the top-right corner to give us a commanding 3–0 lead going into half-time. The second half started in blistering fashion, as R. Sharman completed a rapid hat-trick to extend the lead to 6–0. J. Osundaya then rounded off an impressive team performance with a composed finish into the bottom-left corner. A fantastic 7–0 victory and the perfect way to start the season. The boys couldn’t have asked for a better opening result.

 

Senior U18 Boys v Croxley Danes (District League) AWAY  Mr Cartledge

Date : Tuesday 22nd September 2026

Result : Lost 2-0

Comment : The boys were shaking their heads after losing a game we dominated from start to finish creating a host of chances that the boys failed to convert. Croxley scored with their only 2 real chances in the game to leave the boys very disappointed in defeat. The boys worked hard and at times played some good passing football but definite improvements needed in the final third moving forward.

Year 11 v Croxley Danes  (District League) Home  Mrs Cooper 

Date : Wednesday 23rd September

Result : Lost

Squad : V.Hill, A.Lankshear, J.Isles, Y.Khan, M.Huryta, A.Karakushi

Commended performances : A.Karukushi and M.Huryta voted for by the opposition.

Comment : A tough first game for the senior girls, with illness and unavailability in the team we were thankful for those that stepped in at the last minute to play.  Sadly the Croxley team were at full strength and dominated the game. However the BMS team did not give up and worked hard until the final whistle. Good resilience ladies!

A reminder NETBALL practice takes place on a TUESDAY after school everyone is welcome – Fixture lists are on the notice boards in and outside of the changing rooms.

 

PE kit

It is essential that students have the full correct PE kit for all lessons. This includes shinpads and black /yellow socks when participating in football lessons and also a pair of white sports socks for all other activities. Students will be reminded when activities change. Students not bringing the correct kit will instantly receive consequence points.

Girls should be wearing plain black shorts which are longer than the length of their PE shirt or hoody. Leggings should be black sports leggings and not see through.  Black tracksuit bottoms are also permitted.

ALL jewellery should be removed prior to the start of the lesson, including earrings, and hair should be tied up.
