It has been very pleasing to see how well all students have embraced our new Behaviour Curriculum BMS READY  launched at the start of this term. Lessons across the school have been more purposeful and students are demonstrating a better understanding of what it means to show Respect, take Responsibility and build positive Relationships in and beyond the classroom.

Even simple things like being ready with perfect uniform and equipment appears to be having a very positive impact as students embrace these aspects even more successfully.

On Monday morning in our Monday Magic Moment in Staff Briefing, Lead Practitioner Miss Pattni guided all staff through the next aspect of the curriculum – Active Participation. Being active in learning – asking and answering questions, taking part enthusiastically in group work or paired discussions, being ready to demonstrate your learning are all things that really enhance learning.

As parents and carers do encourage your children to be actively involved – this will enable them to maximise their learning and progress over time.
