Do As Asked!
As a key member of the Teaching and Learning Team and one of our top teachers, Advanced Lead Teacher Mr Godfrey led our Monday Magic Moment at the start of the week in the Main Hall and reminded all staff of the next key aspect of our BMS READY Curriculum – Do As Asked first time.
When children listen to the instruction given by a teacher or Learning Assistant and comply with it straight away, it enables the learning journey to progress more smoothly and uninterrupted – benefitting all students in the classroom.
When children follow the instructions at the first time of asking it makes for a much calmer and safe environment and supports our core values of demonstrating Respect, taking Responsibility and building good Relationships.
As parents and carers do continue to ask your children about BMS READY and encourage them to always follow the instructions given by adults at the school.
