I welcomed back a new group of keen chefs from Year 7 and 8 this week as cooking club in the Technology block resumed.
We divided up and each made an element of a chicken nachos dish. One pair made the nachos while the other pairs made guacamole, salsa and the chicken toppings.
The students got the opportunity to hone their cooking skills, try new dishes and have lots of fun.
Cooking club runs every Tuesday after school until 4.15pm for Year 7 and 8 as long as you bring a container! Over the next few weeks we will be making ravioli, spicy rice, fruit pops and a summer soup.
