Stepping into Sixth Form

This week, we were delighted to welcome our incoming Year 12 students to Bushey Meads School for our Stepping into Sixth Form Taster Sessions.

The event provided students with an exciting opportunity to experience life as a Sixth Former, meet their teachers and future classmates, and explore the wide range of subjects they will be studying from September. Across the school, classrooms were filled with engaging, interactive lessons designed to inspire curiosity, encourage participation and give students a real insight into Sixth Form learning.

It was particularly wonderful to welcome so many students joining us from other schools. We are thrilled that you have chosen Bushey Meads for the next stage of your educational journey and look forward to getting to know you over the coming months. We hope the taster sessions helped you feel welcomed, supported and excited about becoming part of our Sixth Form community.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback from students reflected the enthusiasm, expertise and dedication of our teaching staff, whose carefully planned lessons showcased the high-quality learning experiences that define Bushey Meads Sixth Form. Their commitment ensured that every student left feeling more confident and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.

As we look towards September, we are excited to welcome our new Year 12 cohort into a vibrant Sixth Form where academic excellence, personal development and enrichment opportunities go hand in hand. We are confident that our students will thrive, build lasting friendships and make the very most of everything Sixth Form life has to offer.
