On Thursday 13th October, Year 11 students and their parents attended our annual Revision Techniques Evening.
Each student received a Revision Goody Bag upon arrival containing an examination pencil case, pens, highlighters and revision note cards. Also in the bag was a special Revision Resources and Tips booklet in which all subjects contributed ideas for revision resources and strategies.
During the evening, each core subject presented some top tips for success and Mrs Bowe, Lead Practitioner, presented some theories behind successful revision and strategies that really work. Mrs Smith, Pastoral Manager, reminded year 11 about the impact great attendance has upon results and the pastoral help available to all. Many thanks to all the presenters, for their time and contributions to the evening.
A video of the event and the presentation is available on the school website.
