There was a distinct hum of creativity coming from the textiles room this term! Our Year 7 students have officially completed their latest challenge: designing and crafting unique pencil cases from recycled textiles.
The project took them through the full lifecycle of a product. They began with cultural research, looking at diverse designers to spark their own original ideas. They also tackled learning the intricate art of patchwork and the patience required for hand-tacking.
