Foused Friday Reading
Our high profile focus on encouraging all students to be great readers and develop a love of reading continues at the school, supported in part by our embedded quiet reading programme on Friday mornings.
It was a real privilege to join Miss Hill and 7 Ash to see them listening so attentively to Miss Hill reading the carefully chosen set book and following along carefully, stopping every now and then to discuss the meaning and context of the text.
It was also nice to be able to read to them for a short while and contribute to the impressive culture that has been established with this CDC group.
