At Bushey Meads School we are extremely fortunate to have a team of top teachers who work together as a Teaching and Learning Team under the leadership of our Senior Lead Practitioner Mrs Hoskins and oversight of Deputy Headteacher Mr Beswick. As a team they develop professional development resources, deliver high quality training to staff on all aspects of teaching pedagogy and they also support colleagues in subject areas across the school to hone their craft and build even greater confidence in the classroom.

This year they have already delivered training about the new BMS READY behaviour curriculum being launched to strengthen students’ attitudes to learning and the progress they make in all subject areas. Pictured here, Senior Lead Practitioner Mrs Hoskins and Senior Advanced Lead Teacher MIss Sumpter are delivering our Monday Magic Moment at the start of the week in Staff Briefing in the Main Hall, all about this new initiative in the school. As a team they have also provided a whole bank of resources for Character Development Coaches to embed the new initiative throughout this first half term.
