I would like to commend all students for moving carefully around the school site in the area surrounding A Block; the building firm have commented on how polite and respectful they have been with regard to the slight changes in routines related to our major refurbishment and building project currently underway.
In terms of an update, it has been a week of demolition and the pictures provide a record of the progress. Walls and ceilings have been removed inside the building and preparations are being made on top of the roof of classroom A7 to prepare for the initial works to create a second storey classroom to fully make the whole block a two storey building.
This new additional classroom will be part of a lovely new languages teaching suite, equipped with an additional large central resource base and sixth form teaching room.
