School Development – PE & Health

As we come towards the end of our major £6 million investment in the school buildings and learning environment at BMS, it is exciting to see the largest of the projects starting to take shape and begin to imagine the impact it will have on learning and achievement in one of our key faculties in the school – our PE and Health Faculty. Towering above our school landscape the large two storey structure, due to be completed by September 2018, will house an extensive multi-gym upstairs and a state of the art teaching space for GCSE PE lessons and our hugely successful Level 3 Vocational and A Level courses for our sporting elite sporting students in the Sixth Form.

A lift and staircase will provide access to the first floor and shower and toilet facilities are also being provided. The new building will give an impressive entrance foyer and atrium to the faculty and link to all our existing sporting facilities, well used by all students and staff. Exciting times!
