Forest School – Learning Support

Forest School – Learning Support:

We are so lucky that our Year 7s and 8s are able to visit the Forest School at Little Reddings each week for some outdoor therapy, exercise and life skill learning. Miss Chalkley and Miss Whittingham are leading these trips for both year groups and have been so enthusiastic. The students are gaining a huge amount from their time already spent there. Thank you so much to Mrs Tregear for giving us this opportunity within the trust.

Alfie Bracewell – 8M:
On Monday I walked to Little Reddings and into the forest school. We explored around and there was a nice field and there was a bat, some rope and lots of activities. There was a place to make mud soup and it looked fun. I would like to build a DEN next week.

Gracie Fry – 8A:

We went to the Forest school and it was a lovely time to sit and talk about anxiety. I want to do my AQA Award.

Melina Magkafouraki – 8S:

We walked to Little Reddings School. We sat in the little forest and talked. It helped me relax and escape from school. Next time I would like to do some activities like make a water filter.
