Year 12 Sociologists

Our Year 12 Sociology students are striving for greatness with their readiness to learn the topic of ‘Research Methods.’ Students have recently learnt about how useful research methods are in schools, classrooms and some of the barriers that there are in researching students in investigating key issues in education.

Students have learnt a key study, Milgram’s study which is a psychological experiment that tests the obedience of individuals.
Our Year 12’s were then able to evaluate the strengths and limitations of using experiments to study individuals behaviour. We hope students will be able to apply all key studies in their transition tests once they arrive! Good luck!
