Year 12 Graphic Design
Before the half term holiday it was so good to drop in to an inspiring Graphic Design A level lesson and see students in Year 12 working on completing a module based around children’s book illustrations.
Studying artists as part of their artist research, including Charles Keeping, Morgana Wallace and Georgie Ripper (who used to work at Bushey Meads School as an Art Technician) has enabled them to develop their own artist flair and imagination.
Poppy created an amazing pop-up to show how she is developing her ideas towards a final piece and Jake is working towards creating a book aimed at 7-10 year olds.
It was so good to see this high level of achievement in the context of a truly industry-standard artistic field. We wish them well in their continued studies at this high level within Bushey Meads School.
