Year 11 Taster Day – Friday 3rd...

Friday 3rd of December was the taster day for the year 11s and we had a great turnout for our photography A-level Taster lesson with 26 students.

Students discussed what makes a successful photograph and were given a quick introduction into understanding some of the key elements of photography including aperture and fast shutter speed. Students were then given the task of taking photographs ensuring they captured examples of the rule of thirds, pattern, texture, leading lines and unusual angles. The results were highly impressive and captured some glistening wintery scenes of the Bushey Meads grounds following the morning rain.
