Watford stadium visit
On Thursday 29th June students from the Watford Inspires Project were invited for a tour of Vicarage Road Stadium.
On our tour the students had talks about diversity and inclusion in football.  We looked at football as a business and did a workshop on what football clubs spend money on and how they make money.
We looked at the luxurious home changing room and  the basic away changing rooms and discussed the physiology behind the set up and how the players would feel before each game. I even managed to sneak a bit of science in because they were fertilizing the pitch!
The students asked some really great questions and their behaviour was impeccable throughout the day, such a great way to round off the programme.
