At the end of a school day, the local roads and pavements near any large secondary school can be rather busy and overcrowded. We continue to encourage all our students to show respect, build good relationships (both in and out of school) and take responsibility for their actions. We also strongly promote our Mind to Be Kind mantra and hope that it is demonstrated both in and out of school.
With that in mind I was delighted to receive the following email from a leading member of our local community.
Dear Mr Turner,
My husband and I sometimes go shopping in Harcourt Road at the end of the school day when Harcourt Road is full of Bushey Meads pupils. My husband uses a stick as a walking aid and the pupils always make way for us in a very polite and courteous manner.  It is a delight to meet them. These children are a credit to Bushey Meads School and their parents.
Best wishes,
Mary Reid

I would like to thank and congratulate all our students and their parents for continuing to be considerate and kind to members of our local community.
