Last week we joined by staff from Little Reddings School for cross Trust training on how to manage students who suffer from an anaphylaxis reaction when in school.

Staff were taught the difference between an intolerance and an allergy and what signs and symptoms they should look out for. The importance of using an epi-pen promptly in an emergency situation was discussed and a demonstration on how to administer the epipen was given.

Staff then got to experience administering a fake auto-injector epi-pen on each other.

A very informative session for all on this important topic.
