Our first Study Saturday for the Year 11 GCSE Class of ’22 was held last weekend and over 60 students attended. Students mainly focussed on Biology, Psychology and Sociology revision, being the first GCSE exams taking place earlier this week. It was great to see so many taking up the opportunity to study in a variety of different ways – some in the Silent Study room in LRC4, some working together as a group in LRC3 and others testing each or using one of the many online learning platforms provided at the school. Students were able to access Chromebooks, PCs and lots of paper papers in a whole variety of different subjects ready and waiting for them on the shelves in the Learning Resource Centre.
The 4 hours between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm went very quickly but everyone used the time very productively. Here’s hoping for some great results in August!
