Medicine Access Day at Gonville &...

The 2018/19 Caius Medicine Access Day which will be occurring in Gonville & Caius college on Thursday the 31st of January. The event is for aspiring Medicine students (from our link areas) who are currently in year 12 and will be led primarily by our own Medicine Students (our MedSoc student society), running from 10:00-15:00. It is, of course, free to attend, and lunch will be provided.

I would be incredibly grateful if you could pass word of this opportunity along to your students. The day promises to be both lots of fun and incredibly informative, with sessions being held about our admissions process, as well as what it’s like to be a Medicine student at Cambridge. We’ll also be hosting sample supervision activities, and sessions for attendees to get a taste of the Cambridge teaching style. Please find a poster for the event attached to this email, and feel free to print it out and pin it up in your school.

The deadline for registering interest is the 10th of January, but there are limited places for this event, and so they are being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Any of your students who want to attend simply need to complete our quick online booking form, which is available here:

 https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FMZCTY7

Further information about the day can be found on our website’s School Events page.

We look forward to welcoming lots of aspiring Medics to Gonville & Caius on the day.
