Consideration is the Cornerstone of Everything

Assistant Headteacher Mr Mitman led some very powerful main school assemblies this week on the very important theme of the week Consideration, linking it fully to our 3 Rs of Respect Responsibility and Relationships. He provided all students with simple practical advice as to how they might show consideration to themselves and others around them in school by being in the right place and doing the right things at the right time – in lessons and around the school site.
He also gave the ‘Mitman Top Tips’ for showing consideration and how it will impact significantly for the positive on your life and future success:
1.  Aim for 100% attendance
2.  Be punctual.
3   Have an excellent Attitude to Learning
He explained to all students that by showing great consideration you can achieve even more in life and linked it to some impactful statistics about GCSE success and earning potential.
The statistics say it all: 80% of all students who have 100% attendance achieve the very best GCSE results nationally.
