Although the annual 3 day summer fun course had to be cancelled we were still able to run a 1 day event at the end of August. The event is designed to provide a fun and welcoming introduction to Bushey Meads for our new Year 7 intake and over 80 students took the opportunity to attend. The students took part in a range of on site activities including cooking, multisports, trampolining, table tennis, frisbee and tennis as well as a group picture challenge. It’s always great to see students making new friends and becoming more confident about starting at secondary school. Massive thank you to all the PE and support staff who helped out and also the 14 Year 11 Sports leaders who were a great help throughout the day.
It was great to join Mr Harris’ Year 9 PE lesson last Friday after breaktime and see how engaged all students were in learning about the key skills required to be an excellent...
