Knowledge is Key!

It was great to listen in to Head of Oak House Mr Symeou and join the students at Oak House Assembly on Monday of this week. Mr Symeou talked about the importance of knowledge and how gaining it helps with breaking down barriers and removing ignorance and prejudice.
He also encouraged the students to consider the importance of empathy; using it to put yourselves in the shoes of others and build positive relationship with all around us.
He concluded by reminding all students to always be kind – a value that is at the very core of our school.
It was a great start to the day.
