Careers in the Creative Industries
On Wednesday students from Years 8 & 9 had a special careers assembly by Lauren from Sky Studios.
Lauren spoke to the students about apprenticeships and other routes into the creative industries.
Working with companies like Sky Studios allows us to give pupils an insight into workplaces and higher education. PAL (Provider Access Legislation) is a legal requirement for schools in England to ensure students have meaningful encounters with providers of apprenticeships and technical education, aligning with the Gatsby Benchmark focused on encounters with further and higher education.
Lauren works closely with Ms Patel, our Careers and Work Related Learning coordinator throughout the year to ensure that students of all year groups get high quality careers education.
