Bushey Meads Students get a taste of...

15 Year 9 Bushey Meads students were selected to participate in the exciting Premier League Enterprise programme delivered by the Watford FC CSE Trust.

Premier League Enterprise is jointly funded by the Premier League and Sport Relief and uses the backdrop of professional football clubs’ business models to deliver enterprise education to inspire young people and increase their aspirations and skills.

The students learned about the business infrastructure behind Watford FC and other top football clubs.  The course developed their enterprise skills and, by using their initiative and problem-solving skills, were able to work as a team and produce some fantastic work.  The students learned about everything including marketing, sales and product development through a series of 6 workshops.

The whole team were invited to Vicarage Road to kick off the course with behind the scenes tour of the stadium, some amazing product development workshops and a fantastic business awareness workshop run by Hilton Hotel.  They were then invited back to reward the excellent effort displayed, with two students, Maisie – 9 Oak & Kyle – 9 Oak, being singled out for their fantastic contributions.

The students have benefited from this fantastic opportunity and were a credit to Bushey Meads School.
