Miss de Alwis asked all the students to try and sum up last year in one word (challenging, fun, enjoyable, good etc.) and then reminded all the students about our new behaviour curriculum launched at the start of this year BMS READY.

The Pastoral Leaders reminded all students that BMS READY creates a climate in the school and the perfect conditions in every classroom to achieve real success.

Students were informed that their attendance is key to this and, with over 91% attendance so far this year, we want to push that higher to 95%. Reward points totals were also shared with the students and show a positive start to the academic year, so it is important to keep this up.

At the end of the assembly the students were reminded that their future is in their hands and that they should do everything they can to make this year really count.
