Keeping Safe in The Local Community
As we move into the summer term, we would like to remind all students to stay safe when travelling around the local area.
Please remember to:
  • Stay aware of your surroundings and avoid distractions when walking, especially when using mobile phones or headphones.
  • Use designated crossing points and follow road safety rules.
  • Travel with friends where possible, particularly when walking home or using public transport.
  • Be respectful to others in the local community, including residents, shop staff, transport staff, and other members of the public.
  • Look out for one another and seek help if you are worried about a friend or someone else’s safety.
We also encourage students to make sensible choices online, as online behaviour can have an impact on friendships and wellbeing within the school community.
If you are ever worried about your safety or the safety of someone else, please speak to a parent, carer, or a member of the Bushey Meads pastoral team.
Being part of the Bushey Meads community means showing kindnessrespect, and consideration for others. We encourage students to be good role models, support their peers, and seek help if they are worried about themselves or someone else.
Together, we can help keep our community safe, respectful, and welcoming for everyone.
Happy Summer Term!
