Student Parliament

We were able to have our very first Student Parliament of the Year where all Houses were able to come together and discuss the topic of  ‘bridging the barriers’ between teachers and students and how we as a school community can better the communication between staff and students. Students were also able to discuss the Positive Behaviour learning Policy and discuss how we can better the consequence ladder and increase rewards for students across the school. There were several ideas that were raised, some excellent discussion took place that the Head Students Prisha, Jake and Head Perfect Femi was able to lead with all year groups. The support of Darsh, Lucy and Charles, our deputy Head students and prefects were also able to help the running of the Parliament.

We want to thank all House Representatives for their contributions and for being the faces of change but also the voices of change to help improve Bushey Meads.
