Summer Lunchtimes at BMS
One of the huge benefits of attending Bushey Meads is having access to our extensive open spaces at break and lunchtime – particularly during the summer months. Over the last few years we have worked hard to ensure that all students have many opportunities at these times to access a huge variety of activities ranging from playing table tennis on the many table tennis tables situated across the school site. enjoying a game of football, netball or basketball on the hard standing areas, astro turf or specially marked out mini pitches on the grass with proper goals now provided, socialising with friends on one of the numerous benches provided throughout school (a number of them situated under shelters for very sunny or inclement weather) or even working out on the still relatively new outdoor gym between C and D Block. These opportunities are in addition to the well attended and varied clubs and extracurricular activities offered by staff at these times.
The photo reminds us how lucky we are and shows a very pleasant lunchtime moment taken last week in the sunshine.
