Bushey Meads School now boosts a fantastic outdoor gym which has been well received by students and staff alike. Coming out of the recent lockdowns, as a school we wanted to boost the chances for children to experience opportunities to exercise regularly and improve their mental and physical health. The outdoor gym is a great resource and is available to students at break and lunchtime and will also be a valuable additional asset for the PE and Health staff to use in lessons throughout the curriculum.
It has been great to see how engaged all students have been with this fantastic new resource at BMS. The new Year 7 students last week loved trying out the different sets of equipment which target various aspects of physicality in a very safe, controlled way.
