Starting to Welcome Back Year 10
A huge congratulations to the year 10 students who have recognised they are struggling to work at home and have chosen to return to work from school.  I am so proud of you and the hard work you are putting in at school towards your GCSE’s.  We are hoping to start seeing more and more year 10 & 12 students returning to school.  We have so missed seeing students in school and Bushey Meads hasn’t felt right without you all here.
I can understand why many of you are struggling to work as effectively from home.  Some of you have been working in a classroom for up to 11 years and we asked you to change, overnight, to working from home.  Some have adapted magnificently, some have adapted really well in some subjects but many of you have struggled at times.  Don’t be disheartened.  You are not alone and it is never too late to ask for help.  It is still 6 weeks until the end of term, during which there is plenty of time to get so much achieved.  The pastoral team are here to help, so please get in touch.  Your pastoral team is as follows:
Year 7 – Ms Smart smartc@busheymeads.org.uk
Year 8 – Mrs Smith smithct@busheymeads.org.uk
Year 9 – Mrs Penny pennym@busheymeads.org.uk
Year 10 & 11 – Mrs Blowers blowersh@busheymeads.org.uk
