Understanding yourself was the theme of Mr Malik’s inspirational assemblies this week as he encouraged each and every student to build on their own strengths and individual passions to succeed.

He also reminded us all that choices have consequences – both good and bad and that it is so important to lay the firm foundations for a successful life during these crucial years at school.

Even making sure that the small, simple, but vitally important things are in place, including: excellent punctuality and attendance, meeting all work related deadlines, looking smart and being fully equipped and ready to learn with a positive attitude to learning.

It is these things that stand us in good stead to achieve our potential and go on to bright exciting futures in the Sixth Form here at BMS and beyond.
