Topical Debate in PSHE and Great Research in...
Students in PSHE were really engaged in a lively debate and discussion about a potential ban on social media for students under the age of 16 and the pros and cons of the agenda, as well as the complexities of who is responsible (parents or children) and how it would be policed.
What was impressive was, not only that they all had so much to say, but that they were following the One Voice rule, really listening carefully to each other and the teacher and showing great levels of respect to the opinions of others.
In history the teacher had provided the students with a scaffolded research sheet to support them in researching all about Henry VIII.
Attitudes to learning were impressive, despite the warm weather outside.
