A Year of Sparx Reader
This year has been a remarkable success for Sparx Reader at Bushey Meads School, with students across years 7-9 making fantastic progress in their reading. We have seen significant improvements in reading ages, demonstrating the positive impact of regular reading practice and engagement with the platform.
Our key stage 3 students have collectively read an incredible 7,700 books, meaning on average, each student in key stage 3 has read over 12 books this school year. Combined, they’ve spent more than 16,000 hours reading and they have answered over 1.4 million comprehension questions and read over 140 million words.
